WHO I AM
It has been my privilege to serve the residents and taxpayers of Central Okanagan West for the last two terms as your Electoral Area Director. My commitment has always been to take the concerns raised by my constituents and advocate effectively on their behalf. I strive to ensure that our community has a strong voice in local services and decision-making processes, while also providing fair, reasonable, and efficient responses to the issues we face together. As I continue this journey, I aim to foster transparency and trust, ensuring that every resident feels heard and valued.
WHAT I DO
Advocacy and Community Engagement
In my role as your Electoral Area Director, I focus on representing the interests of my constituents through active advocacy on local issues. This includes engaging with community members to understand their needs, collaborating with local organizations, and working alongside government agencies to provide solutions that benefit everyone. Whether it's addressing infrastructure concerns, enhancing public services, or promoting sustainable development, my goal is to ensure that the voices of Central Okanagan West residents are heard and prioritized in every decision-making process.
WHAT WE CAN DO
Please get out and vote it is important that your Regional Director be a representative that truly has a stake in the decisions and policies that will determine what your service and functions look like and most importantly what they will cost you. WFN Lands (IR9/10) are included in Central Okanagan West although all decisions on local services and regulations fall to Westbank First Nations Chief and Council. As such service delivery (even those services delivered by RDCO) are determined by WFN Council and some services such as fire by West Kelowna Council.
